Jan E. Blake
Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg. She taught K-12 for over 20 years in the public schools system before joining the College of Education in Reading. Her PhD examined the consequential effects of high-stakes testing on teacher identity, pedagogy, and practice. Current research interests primarily concern improving university teaching and specific aspects and characteristics of learning for struggling learners.
